For anyone who is in the same position as us.

We wanted to make Repricing rules based on custom product attributes (Category, Sale Rank, Supplier, Sub-Category etc).

Currently this functionality is not available but here is a work around.

When importing a product, in the Brand field, split up your product attributes like this or similar format:

Brand=JJHA;Season=Summer;Category=CAMPING;Sale Rank=A

Then when you create a Repricing Rule, in the "Apply to products" > "Advanced Filters". Then choose the "Brand" field then "Contains" as the operator and then enter what ever attribute you want filter by (attached photo).

You can then create repricing rules for whatever value you want.
